Independent AI consultancy, based in Somerset and working across the South West and beyond.

Know exactly where AI fits your business.

We help small and mid-sized firms work out where AI will genuinely save time and money, then help put it in place. Our advice is independent: we resell no licences, take no referral fees, and have no stake in any tool or vendor.

What we do

Three ways to start, depending on where you are.

01

AI Training

Practical sessions for teams and leadership, built around the tools your people already use rather than a generic curriculum.

Ask about training
02

The AI Opportunities Survey

A day on site with your leadership and team, then a written report the next morning, setting out prioritised and costed recommendations that are yours to keep.

03

Audit and Implementation

A fuller assessment followed by the rollout itself, from choosing tools and building workflows to the adoption work that makes them stick.

Discuss a project
Smaller firms have the most to gain from AI, and the least support in getting there.

Large companies have budgets, vendor relationships and dedicated teams for this. Everyone else is left choosing between a course that changes nothing and a consultancy quoting five figures before any work has started. Westcountry AI exists to close that gap.

Our flagship service

The AI Opportunities Survey

Most firms know AI matters and get stuck at the first step. The Survey is a fixed-scope way to find out exactly where it fits, and what it is worth, before committing to anything larger.

Read the full details
  1. Before the day

A short call and a questionnaire

We learn your team size, your current tools and the frustrations that keep coming up, so the day itself is spent on what matters.

  2. On the day

Interviews, and a full audit of your tools

Time with your leadership, then with three to five people across different functions, followed by a complete look at the systems you already run. AI is adopted fastest where it fits what is already there.

  3. The next day

    A written report, by email

Ten to twenty pages. Each recommendation sets out what it is in plain English, the expected impact, an indicative cost, the effort needed from your team, and how much of a priority it is.

  4. Afterwards

A follow-up call and thirty days of support

Both are included. Some clients act on the report themselves and others ask us to deliver parts of it. The report is yours either way.

How we work

Advice you can take at face value.

Independent

We resell no licences, take no referral fees and have no commercial arrangement with any platform or vendor. If the right answer is to do nothing, you will be told so.

Grounded in operations

A background in operations and consultancy leadership means the work is treated as a business problem first and a technology problem second.

Fixed in scope

You know what you are getting, and what it will cost, before anything starts. There are no open-ended day rates, and no discovery phase that quietly becomes the project.

Who we work with

Firms of one to a hundred people, getting started properly.

  • You know AI should be doing something for the business, but nothing has stuck yet.
  • Someone tried a free tool, was underwhelmed, and the subject was quietly dropped.
  • You have been quoted five or six figures for a strategy exercise that feels out of proportion to the problem.
  • Your team is wary, and you know that a rollout which ignores their concerns will fail.
  • You want the work done, rather than a course booked and a folder of slides.

Next step

Start with a fifteen-minute conversation.

Tell us a little about the business and what is prompting you to look at AI. We work on site across Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Wiltshire, Bristol, Gloucestershire and Hampshire, and with clients elsewhere in the country.
